19.09.08 - A massive Thanks!!
Thanks a million to everyone who has been voting for us to play on telly for the Orange Unsigned thing. Unfortunately, it does not look like we got picked up as it says on their website: "... if you have not heard from us yet then unfortunately it is highly unlikely you are in the final 50." Too bad, we didn't received a little phone call!
However, four extra audition spots are still up for grabs at Saturday 20th September ACOUSTIC open auditions in Hoxton, London, from 9am and our courageous Stephen and Stevey (a.k.a Los Estebans!) have been up very early to represent ML amongst hundreds other bands.
More will be revealed in due course!

10.09.08 - URGENT! We need your vote! ORANGE UNSIGNED
It is not often we ask people to vote for our band but this time we are asking you to take 5 minutes a day (everyday until 14 September would be great!!) and vote for Morning Lane. If we have enough votes we get an audition on TV in front of industry people. If we do well, it could be massive exposure for us but to even have a chance to do that we need your votes so PLEASE PLEASE VOTE AS MANY TIMES AS YOU CAN between now and 14 September.
We really appreciate your support. It would mean a lot to us to get the opportunity to get to the auditions.

15.02.08 - Brand NEW SONGS now available!
Finally! After a few months of hard work, we have posted our 6 brand new tunes on MySpace. You can not only listen but also download them for FREE.
The tunes will soon be available from this website, on our AUDIO page, and they will also be FREE to download.

28.10.07 - Gig and New Recordings:
After 4 months, we will be back on the London scene on Tuesday 6th November @ 9.30PM at The Water Rats in King's Cross.
We will hopefully have plenty of CDs of the new recordings to give away on that night as we are now finally mixing the tunes. Also, we will perform a brand new track, called The Slide, and may even play another new one!!
Don't forget to come and get your ML t-shirts before they disappear!!! (more...)

New EP coming soon!
The end of London summer might finally be turning to blue and hot temperatures but the band is busy recording his new EP which is due around September time at the earliest. It is sounding hot, guys!! Very f**cking hot!!
We have also started writing some new tunes which we will be very excited to share with you at our next gig, probably by the end of September/beginning October. We will keep you posted dudes.

ML updates:
After headlining the band's second home last month, The Grand in Clapham Junction, ML topped the bill at STORM in Leicester Square, on the 11th May. The band blasted out a much shorter up tempo set and it was described as a "mesmerizing show".
The band had the opportunity to play their two new tracks which went down really well: immediate hits with the crowd, "Afraid to Say" and "That Moment" are strong, bold and melodic tunes that deserve the attention of the listener in more ways than one, with their honest lyrical content and commanding melodies.

The guys are also gearing up to go into the studio in the next few weeks to record a follow up to their debut EP which has been extremely well received and for which the band has received great reviews. So keep an eye/ear out for that one.

In the meantime, you can now get your hands on the latest limited edition ML t-shirts and be the envy of your whole street - they come in black or white, male or female fit, and they're extremely sexy. (Available at any of our LIVE shows and very soon from this website!).

The Amazing Adventures of a Nobody:
Morning Lane was approached by Shankly Production and asked to feature on the soundtrack of this new UK & US TV Series. After its premiere on Sky Travel in the UK, Amazing Adventures is set to air on National Geographic's Adventure One Channel, broadcasted in more than 100 countries. Additional licenses have been signed with Norway?s Zebra TV, and New Zealand?s Travel TV. You can enjoy the UK series on SKY at the moment.
